Palermo Airport is very busy, particularly at the peak of the tourist season. It is also an important business hub with many internal flights from all main Italian cities. Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, the heightened security measures necessitated by increased threats and the general stress of twenty-first-century air travel can take its toll.

However, you can escape the noise and hubbub of the public areas of the airport by using the VIP lounge. The GESAP Lounge at Palermo Airport provides a comfortable and peaceful place in which to relax while waiting for your flight.

Unusually, the lounge is located landside of the airport next to check-in area A. The deep sofas will allow you to forget the hassle of the airport, but don’t forget to catch your flight!

The lounge is open from 05:30 to 21:30 daily. Access is free for the holders of certain tickets with affiliated airlines and the members of lounge clubs such as Priority Pass. A one-time ticket can also be bought by general passengers up to twenty-four hours in advance with a maximum stay of three hours. There is no walk-up access.
